All-in-one solution capable of protecting employees without the need to have a tethered smart device.

React Mobile is thrilled to announce the launch of the Long Range Wide Area Network (LORAWAN or LoRa) Panic Button. The LoRa Panic Button is an all in one solution capable of protecting employees without the need to have a tethered smart device.

The company developed the LoRa Panic Button in an effort to support hoteliers need for a solution that is capable of protecting employees both, and isn't limited by cellular network connection. This new hardware allows staff to be completely hands-free as they work and permits them to quickly and discreetly call for help when assistance is needed.

Key features:

  • Constructed with a durable plastic casing and a comfortable silicone strap.
  • Compatible with the React Mobile Hospitality App.
  • 600mAh battery capacity. Use the LoRa button to easily monitor time and battery life.
  • Easily worn on the wrist or attached to a fob.
  • This device does not require a cellular connection.
  • Dimensions: 49 x 44 x 14.4mm.
  • Compliant with current legislation and brand standards.
  • Centralized charging. Charge up to 40 devices at once, eliminating tangled charging cables.

"React Mobile is delighted to announce our latest addition to our range of workplace safety solutions,” explains John Stachowiak, CEO of React Mobile. “We are proud to partner with the hospitality industry as hoteliers work hard to prioritize staff safety and well-being by investing in cutting-edge technologies designed to create and maintain a safer workplace.”

Four value propositions separate React Mobile from other workforce safety platforms on the market:

  1. Silent Alarm- Unlike competitors that use noisemakers to deter troublemakers (which oftentimes can escalate the violence), React Mobile triggers a silent alarm that brings help without alerting others that a response is coming.
  2. Verifiable Dispatch- Once the silent alarm on the panic button has been pressed a light begins flashing red. In less than one second (when a responder receives the alert and confirms help is on the way) the flashing light turns blue, providing visual acknowledgement to the employee their alert was received.
  3. Confidential System- React Mobile prevents panic buttons from being triggered erroneously. By configuring the button press pattern (hold down for three seconds or press the button three times within three seconds) false positive alerts are prevented. React Mobile also complies with many Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) that protect employees from being tracked on a property when not in danger, thereby saving panic button battery life and honoring employee privacy.
  4. Instant Activation- In many competitive situations, when a panic button is pressed, someone needs to hear an audible alarm before they can call a dispatcher who may require a conversation while an attack is in progress. This results in a long delay before help is on the way. React Mobile delivers the fastest response time compared to other providers.
